YouTube’s Mobile Java Application

[tag]YouTube[/tag] is becoming accessible through your mobile phone using http://m.youtube.com and their new [tag]Mobile Java[/tag] application. The application is currently in beta and is only available to US and UK users. It is supported by [tag]J2ME[/tag] [tag]MIDP2[/tag] capable devices.

This is a great news for the mobile Java community. I hope this will bring YouTube a bigger coverage and Java a very successful case study for mobile applications.

I’m not sure how this application will survive when [tag]Android[/tag] is adopted. But this is unlikely to happen overnight. And maybe they’re already working on an Android version of the application.
